The
Lakeshore Nature Preserve is managed by the Univeristy of Wisconsin-Madison's
Division of Facilities Planning and Management (FPM).
Two full-time managers work together to provide day-to-day oversight
of operations and policy. A shared-governance body called the
Lakeshore Nature Preserve Committee, with faculty,
staff, and student members, advises Preserve managers and the UW-Madison administration
about policies for stewardship and use of the Preserve.
